Mowing?

Finally my Long term assignment is signed and I will work here in Beijing for the coming two years.
We have now started to look for a new apartment since we can get a new, bigger apartment for the same price as we pay today in San Quan.
Probably it will be at Park Avenue, just south of Chaoyang Park. Most of my colleagues live in this area and since it is close to fourth ring road it is closer going to the factory or to the office.
The landlord of our first choice was not nice to discuss terms with - she wanted us to move out again before the Olympics next year so she could rent out the apartment to a very high rent in August next year...

Just now our agency, Julian, is discussing with the landlord of our second choice and we hope to get a positive answer by tomorrow. We are getting a little short of time since we are going to Sweden for vacation in 10 days and will not be back in Beijing again until two days before we have to mowe out from San Quan.

Thank God it is Friday

Finally, after 18 hrs travelling I am back in Beijing. Very tired after spending so long time in airports and on airplanes... FinnAir was not a good choice! We spend the evening having a good dinner at TGI.

Stuck in airport again

Today going back to Beijing with Finnair via Helsinki. Flight from Copenhagen delayed 45 min and we were running the risk to miss the connection to Beijing.
Arriving Helsinki we get the information that the flight to Beijing is delayed 1 hour and new departure will be 21.10. This have now been changed several times and latest information is now that take off will be 00.50...

On the road again

After just one day at home in Beijing I am now in the lounge at Beijing airport waiting for the flight to Copenhagen - via Paris.
Will be at the office in Lund for a week. Back in Beijing on Friday.

Back in Beijing again after an awful fligh from Shen Zhen due to the rainstorms.
It is very hot and dry in Beijing so we are lucky having a pool in the building.
Swimming 4-500 m almost every day after work. Good for body and soul...

Stuck in Shen Zhen

Been on business trip one week to Shen Zhen and was today flying back to Beijing. For 3 hrs we have been sitting in the plane on the ground unable to take off due to bad weather. The captain just announced another 50 min delay and people now are starting to loose their temper...
Hope we will take off soon.
